निर्वाचन आयोग ने 2034 तक होने वाले अगले चार चुनावों के लिए होनेवाले अतिरिक्त खर्च की सूची तैयार की है। 2029 में एकसाथ होनेवाले चुनाव पर लगभग 2,015 करोड़ जबकि चौथे चुनाव का खर्च बढ़कर 13,982 करोड़ तक पहुंच सकता है। इससे EVM और VVPAT ट्रांसपोर्टेशन, मेंटेनेंस और सिक्यॉरिटी का खर्च अलग होगा।
